I'm Victoria and love to create artwork inspired by nature's small miracles. I've always loved macro photography; capturing moments and detail that the human eye can't see I find fascinating!
The Small Art Company was originally formed to sell small works of art, some of which are still for sale, but I now focus on creating nature-related artwork, concentrating on the miniature world (flowers, butterflies, ladybirds, toadstools...), which may also include larger pieces, in response to demand.
I hope you'll find something that you love and that will make you happy.
Please note that I had previous shops called Careford Creations, Folk of the Forest and Dear Duck Illustration. Everything is now combined in The Small Art Company.
A little bit about me...
I'm a self-taught photographer and have been taking photographs for over 30 years. Aside from photography, I love craft and mixed media; it's great fun to combine them all! I really enjoy experimenting with different mediums and the result of these experiments is The Small Art Company.
I have also completed a children's book illustration course with the London Art College, passing with Distinction.
The Small Art Company is based in Hertfordshire, UK, a few miles from where I grew up in north London. I also work as a primary school teacher.
